Having pulled out of UK air racing the Rally weekend was free so I decided to pack the camping gear and do a solo trip to the 70th LAA Rally - celebrating from 1946 to 2016.
Imagine my surprise when I came to the entrance .... G-JBTR was the image for 2016!
I camped in 2013 and I learned a few lessons ... namely bring a deep inflatable matress ... much better and had some decent sleep ... for camping!
Also camping for the three days were .. James Stringer (from ARC Racing), Eddie Yates, John Mitchie - UK RV stalwarts.
