One of my main concers about becoming involved with ARC was (a) the standard of the other pilots and (b) the standard of the instructors.
ARC is a dream of a few Portuguese airline pilots who knew to be successful they would have to enlist the help of experienced instructors. I was very impressed with all the ARC isntructors who are mainly display pilots and Reno Racers. Whilst I shouldn't single out people I am going to because I clicked with Bob Mills straight away. Bob is an ex US Navy Tomcat Pilot and was the Sport Class Pace/Formation Lead during PRTC check out his and their CVs here. Concern (b) is not an issue!
The bulk of the funding for ARC is from the media so there was a strong presence and we had to give interviews - bit out of my comfort zone there!
