Brief Description: Mounted firewall components and engine mount
Today was the day to assemble the bulk of the firewall mounted components to the firewall. This involved sealing the holes with firewall sealant at the same time. The first thing I mounted was the oil filter indent. I then attached the brake reservoir, the battery case, the master and starter relays, the trasducer manifold, the cabin heating diverter, and all the hoses and fittings. Finally, I mounted the engine mount to the firewall. I did not torque the bolts on the engine mount as yet because I'm thinking that I might remove the engine to paint the fuselage.
