Kay and I and the plane. Boy, this has been a long project. Kay has been with me through it all. She helps when I ask her and puts up with all the sacrifices of time, energy, and expense that I throw into this project. I never thought it would take this long, but all good things take time. I'm still enjoying the building after 4 years, but its time to get this plane in the air. 2010 is the year.
I started working on the cowling. Cut the slot in the lower cowling to enable me to put it up to the engine. Now I need to decide on the attachment approach. I believe I will be using hinges for the bottom/fuse joints and the top/bottom joints, but use Skybolts for the top/fuse joint. This seem to me to be the best alternative to visibility and ease of use.
