I assembled the slider rail without priming the parts. I thought it would be better to have the aluminum bare on the sliding parts to avoid scraping the paint off. I may have to revisit this decision when I get to painting the fuselage. At this point, I was mostly interested in getting the rail positioned and holes drilled to cleco it in place. The front end is secured with a threaded bar. This needs some painting.
