Brief Description: Cut hole in rudder for tail light
Clean up the joint of the lower rudder tip with sandpaper. Van's could have done a little better job of matching the halves. Found the center of the mounting area and used a step drill to drill the initial size of the hole. Cut the remaining hole size with a dremel tool. I decided to cut the hole only large enough to fit the main cylinder of the light through. It looks like the outside bezel will then hold the inside piece down snugly when tightened down. Put the main cylinder in to match drill the mounting holes.
