Brief Description:  Mounted wings, trimmed flaps, set incidence

Here you can see the wings mounted onto the fuselage using the horses I made a couple of days ago. I was able to adjust the height and angle of the wing just enough to get the main spar to line up to the center section. Assembly went very well. I dropped some plumb lines off the leading edge of the wing to check for sweep. There was a slight forward sweep, that I took care of by shortening the rear spars by about 1/8". After zeroing out the sweep and confirming that the wings are equally at right angles to the fuselage, started to look at the incidence angle. I attached the flaps and trimmed them slightly so that they would clear the fuselage. I then adjusted the incidence angle so that the flaps would close on the underside of the fuselage snuggly. Did this for both sides. I then measured the incidence angle of both wings and they were equal and right on. It was really nice having the horses to move the wings around by small amounts. I'll wait till tomorrow to drill the holes in the rear spar.
