Brief Description: Fabricated left wing tip support baffles
I started to make the baffles by cutting them roughly to size. I then used .060 grit sandpaper to trim them to size. I spaced them evenly along the depth of the wing tip. I marked the baffles to cut them to length. I then glued them in place with epoxy resin. When that was cured, I used glass bead filled epoxy resin to make fillets. I added two layers of 8 oz fiberglass to the the forward surface of each of these baffles. I then cut an additional piece of foam to cover the baffles and to form a box.. This was covered with two layers of glass as well. Unfortuneately, I did not get pictures of the finished result.
