The firewall shields are use stainless plates that are screwed into plates on the rear side of the firewall. A grommet and RTV compound prevent engine gas penetration. The cables are wrapped with a couple of layers of stainless steel tape to prevent the cable from being cut by the shield. This completes all the firewall shields for all firewall penetrations.
