Today was about getting the signal wires dressed and ready to do final termination. I finished up the wires from the engine oil temperature, pressure and fuel pressure sensors including the dressing and lacing along the engine mount on the firewall forward. This is my first use of the orange epoxy tape for lacing cable to the engine mount. The tape is supposed to fuse to itself after you remove the plastic separator and stretch it. It conforms very nicely to the tubes and seems to stick well providing a non-moving anchor for the lacing cable. My only concern is about the use of lacing cable in the engine compartment. I don't know whether it will withstand the heat.
