After the epoxy cured, I took some time to cut the hinges to size and clean up the fit of the joints. The hinge pins were cut to length and bent as required for installation. The gaps between the cowl and the fuselage were set to about .050". Note that the fuselage attached hinge half covers the gap so there is no light seen through the gap.
