Brief Description:  Cutting top cowl to length

Now that the flanges have been completed. I can do an inital cut of the back edge of the top cowl. I used the tape to measure where the cut had to be made. I then used a handheld belt sander to remove the excess material. I left the cut a little proud so that I could make minor adjustments later. After fitting the cowl, I discovered that its edge had to be thickened some in order to create a good flush fit with the cabin skin. I decided to build this up using a couple of layers of fiberglass.
