My Trutrack order arrived, I have a friend with a machine shop that cut me out my panel on a scrap piece of 2024. This was to enable me to fit my instruments into the mock panel and make adjustments if I needed them. The Panel was designed on Panel Planner J, and a DXF file was taken to the machine shop where it was used to cut the panel out on a Mazac CNC router.
My Instrument selections are: Trutrak EFIS SG AP IV, EFIS GP as a backup that can be switched to an engine monitor, Garmin GNS 430 W, Trutrak ADI with GPS, Garmin 695, Exp2bus electrical panel & indicator, GT 50 G Meter, Alpha Systems AOA, Garmin GMA 347 Audio Panel, Garmin SL30 Nav Com, Garmin GTX 327 Transponder, Altimeter, ASI. The aircraft has a primary Oddesy 680 battery, along with a SLA backup battery incase of shorting/ALT failure on the primary circuit. The Exp2bus will be able to be switched to backup battery, and the ADI will also be able to be switched past the Exp2bus, as well as battery select incase of complete electrical failure.
