Spen the day at HAS custom metals where I was allowed to use the alodine bath there. Each aileron skeleton part was washed with soap and water, dropped in alumniprep for 3-4 mintes (6:1 dilution) and then put in the alodine bath for a further 3-4 minutes. Parts were then dipped into water and air dried. The came up a nice golded colour.
