Brief Description: Removing Zinc Chromate from Spars.
I have decided to Alodine the spars. When I received them once was primed with Zinc Chromate, and the other left unprimed which has accumulated some surface corrosion. The process pr rubbing back the spars with scotchbrite as a long and tedious task, but then if I was to get corrosion disassembling the wing would be a greater task. Thats what I am telling myself anyway.
