Brief Description: Removed Plastic From LH Wing Spar
The kit purchased had the RH spar painted with zinc chromate, but when the previous owner left the project the LH spar still had the plastic on it & untreated. Once the plastic was lifted off there was some surface corrosion around some of the prepunched rivet holes. The plastic was lifted off, and the corrosion scotchbrited. It has been suggested to finish the surface with Alumiprep which I have to source.
