Brief Description: Drilled the Aileron Counterweights
Drilled the Aileron Counterweights.
I match drilled the posterior holes of the counterweight using the F-1004 nose rib tabs as guide to mark the locations of the holes into the counterweights. Next, I removed the counterweight and completed the drilling of the holes first with a #40 drill the upsized those holes to #27. The nose ribs were then attaced to the couterweights using screw and lock nuts.
Reassembled the nose of the aileron again, this time to be able to match drill the rest of the holes into the couterweight using the nose skin holes as guides. First the holes were drilled to #40 size then upsized to #30 size.
