After talking with Bill and how he has his spar slots on the ribs I decided to loosen my outboard ribs up a little more before proceeding with doubler gluing. It would be a royal PITA to attempt sanding the openings after the installing the doublers. Now there should be no problem getting the -11 and -12 ribs over the doublers. Marked the doublers and pre-trimmed the top and bottom edges to match the 6 degree spar bevel cut. Used the jigsaw adjusted to the angle and it worked very well. Made pressure distribution blocks from 3/8" plywood and cut holes to match the doubler holes but larger. Put packing tape on the sides that will be against the doubler when gluing to prevent them from getting glued together. The other sides will get tape when doing the right wing. Test fit the blocks and doublers, everything looks like a go for gluing soon!
