Tacked and welded the first of two idlers. Quite a bit easier to set up and weld these with two simple side plates. The welds at the tube junction still give me fits but this time I took my time and repositioned every .5" or so of weld so I could keep my angle better. Got the new keyless chuck for the drill press. Wow, it is smooth and true. One piece arbor and chuck from Grizzly.
