Brief Description: Landing wire pin plates and pin assemblies
Installed two 970-3 washers to the butt riba angle bracket bolts that were missing in the hardware kit earlier. Reamed all four aluminum landing wire pin plates to 1/4" for the attachment bolts. Trim the left wing's front plate on the outboard edge to provide clearance for proper hole alignment. It was being slightly blocked by the compression rib it sits against. Installed the plates on both wing's front spars. Used the adjustable reamer to open the pin hole enough to insert the pin snugly. Re-applied clear coat to the pin holes after reaming. Assembled L&R wing landing wire pin assemblies. Applied Torque Seal to all nuts at the butt fittings except the drag wire lugs. I need to align the lugs to point directly toward the -8 ribs before tightening those two bolts.
