Sanded back the top and bottom cowl first coat of primer, came out very nice with only a few spots I had to rub back. Fitted it back onto the plane and filled in a couple of nicks and defects with the filler, also rubbed the spinner. Took the cowl off once I was happy it was pretty good, I gave them both another coat of primer, this I will lightly rub back and then give it a paint, did the same with the spinner. I added up there is around 50 hours of work just to get the cowl prep work done.
