Lots of sanding again. Primed the inside of top and bottom cowl, sanded back smooth and then using a micro body filler, I applied a light coat over the top to fill in pin holes and any other defects, let this dry and then sanded off smooth, gave another coat of primer on the to cowl, getting close, will let this dry and harden. Also fitted another mixture control which suits an RV10, as mine was just a bit stretched and tight, so this fixed the problem nicely, clamped in place.
