Instead of using the supplied stainless steel tension rods which hold the bottom engine baffles in place, I used stainless steel all thread rod. This way I ddn't have to thread the ends of the supplied rods. I did try drilling a hole in the ends and using split pins, but couldn't get enough tension ans too hard to to put in the split pins. With the all thread rod you can get good tension.
