Rubbed out the primer filler in any high spots of the tip, used body filler to touchup any small pin holes and imperfections. Thought I might give an aileron a coat of primer. So It was a matter of wet & dry rub with 400 and 600 paper and scotchbrite pad, cleanup, let dry and coat with primer. I'm impressed, looks great, can't wait till I give them the coat of bright white 2 pak acrylic. I'm using a Deltron PPG Paint. Trimmed up and fitted the second lense cover, drilled and riveted on the platenuts which secure the cover in place.
