Brief Description:  Forward Fuselage

Made the 4 x F-904L attach strips, mounted, clecoed and drilled both the F-902 bulkheads along with the F-719 side skin stiffeners and drilled the attach angle clips. I half rolled back the front of the skins to get my drill in and drill the correct holes for the angle attach points.
Drilled the attach F-904L strips and clecoed to the skins and bulkheads.
Smoothed the edges of the F-7101 gear attach web, bored out the hole for the fuel grommet to 1/2" and it matches perfect with the hole driled in the skin, as it should. Drilled, deburred and clecoed these on.
Now to go back a step, I need to make a template from the drawings for the holes that need to be made in the bottom of the skin, this is for the gear legs to pass through since I am building a RV7A. Using baking paper I could trace the outline of the holes required off the plans and transposed them to the skin. Using a small drill I drilled all the way around the inside of the traced out hole and removed the cutout. A file smoothed out the edges nicely.
