After putting all the empennage parts together to stand back and have a good look at my work, I finally dismantled the parts to be painted. The 2 pak primer I used meant I had to paint these within a few weeks of priming for the paint to have a really good bond. I'm painting my aircraft with all horizontal surfaces gloss white and half the upper fuselage will be metallic blue with perhaps a silver strip.
