Brief Description: Landing Light Mounting and Wiring
Completed step 6 page 40-04 – riveted the w-1223C rib doublers to the W-1223B-L landing light rib per Figure 2. Repeated for the W-1223b-R landing light rib. Completed step 7 – added SB375-4 snap bushings oriented per Figure 2. Completed step 8 – fabricated WH-B215 landing light ground wire 8” long. Installed ES-31890 ring terminal on one end and female Molex pin on the other end. Installed into Molex male connector housing. Completed step 9 – attached WH-B215 landing light ground wire to W-1223B-L landing light rib per Figure 2. Completed steps 2-6 page 40-06 – routed wires through snap bushings in W-1223B-L landing light rib and W-1223B-R landing light ribs per Figure 3. Crimped female Molex pins onto ends of the WH-B213 and WH-B214 wires then snapped them into the male Molex connector housing that has the WH-B215 ground wire already installed. Completed steps 1-5 page 40-07. Attached male Molex pins to the LL-200 landing light wires then installed into female Molex connector block to mate with the male connector previously completed. Hooked Molex connectors together and applied 9V at inboard connector to proper pins to verify wiring connections to landing light. All worked as required. Clecoed the inboard and outboard wing skins W-1201-R and W-1203-R in place on wing skeleton as shown is steps 2-4 page 17-02
