Brief Description:  Completed spar attach angles & deburring

Completed step 5 page 13-02 – drilled and tapped 3/8-16 holes in AEX tie downs W-1206-R. After looking at several completed RV-12 planes I decided to file the worst of the shear marks off the laminated aluminum front section of the W-1206-L&R wing spars. Completed the filing and the primed the edges. Also completed the priming of the alcad aluminum attach angles that were already installed on the wing spars. Scotchbrited the surfaces of the attach angles prior to priming. Remaining surfaces of the wing spars were left as received as they are apparently anodized per information I have read on the VAF forum. Completed steps 1-5 page 13-03 – added the W-1206V attach angles to both the W-1206-L&R spar assemblies. Added the W-1206T attach angles to outboard end of W-1206 – L&R. Riveted the attach angles to spars per Figures 2 & 3 page 13-03. Riveted all remaining holes identified in Figure 3 with LP4-3 and LP4-4 rivets as specified. Section 13 is completed.
