Brief Description: Fuel Pump and Fuel Shutoff Valve
Jumped to section 28 fuel system installation as previous builders have indicated it is much easier to install these components before the side skin and support structure are installed – tipped fuselage assembly in its side. Completed step 1 - Installed fluid fittings into the ES 40105 Fuel Pump as shown in Figure 1 (used a small amount of pipe thread sealant – Permatex 2). Installed the ES 40105 Fuel Pump to the F-1048F Facet Pump Bracket as shown in Figure 1 after confirming proper fuel flow direction. Per step 1 page 31B-22 installed an ES-421-0108 female spade connector on the red wire of the fuel pump while access is easier. Completed step 3 - Drilled #30 the FUEL VALVE 4161089 handle per the dimensions given in Figure 2.
