Step 1 - Placed the VS-1213 onto the V-stab assembly. Step 2 Match drilled the #30 holes from the VS-1201 into the VS-1213 per Figure 1 Step 3 Aligned and marked the aft edges of VS-1213 to be flush with the aft edges of VS-1201 then sanded the VS-1213 edges to the marks Step 4 Check for smooth trnsition of the VS-1213 to the VS-1201 Step 5 Temporarily attached the rudder assembly to the V Stab assembly Step 6 Check the travel of the rudder and mark areas of the VS-1213 that need trimmed to allow a minimum of 1/8 inch clearance throughout the full travel range.
