Brief Description: HS -1217 skin installation and control horns
Completed steps 7, 8, 9 page 09-09. Riveted HS-1217 skins to HS-1201-R&L and HS-1208 aft ribs. Broke edges at interface with Cleaveland tool which worked perfectly. Worked step 1 page 09-10 bolting WD-1207 upper and WD-1208 lower horns to stabilator assembly. Had gap between horn and spar box of ~0.032 inches. Will make shim to install on front side of box. Will check with Van’s to get confirmation that this is an acceptable addition as they have indicated to other builders.
