Removed factory supplied rudder cables, since it appeared they would fray the aircraft fabric at rear exit point before attaching to rudder horn. Also, it looked like the cables would rub into the aluminum tubes inside the fuselage.
Measured old cables, then cut off the tangs. Re-swaged new cable, partly encased in nylaflow tubing and used correct size cable thimbles. Attached to rudder horn and used a castle nut/cotter pin instead of a tensile nut, as called for. Then, raised and guided rudder cables through fixed adel clamps.
Cut and re-died nosewheel steering links. Rudder pedals and cables are now fully adjusted.
