Made foam core for lower skin. Core is 28 inches span and 4 1/2 inches chord. Foam is beveled on all 4 sides. Coated core with epoxy/micro. Bonded core into place with epoxy/flox. Core placed 1 1/2 inches behind leading edge and extends aft.
Covered core with 2 bid carbon layup. Carbon extends onto skin1 inch minimum on all sides except leading edge side. On leading edge side 2 bid extends into leading edge radius and continues apporx 1 inch onto upper skin. Leading edge radius now is composed of 2 bid skin + 4 additional bid.
Next step will add core to upper skin and increase total leading edge radius to skin + 6 bid.
Filled previously drilled drain holes in root end of lower leading edge with epoxy/micro. Need to sand flush with skin and add 2 bid.
