Brief Description:  Engine mount

Perhaps I lack faith. Anyhow, when I pushed the engine mount hard against the firewall the inferior (lower) connections and the upper connections appeared to fit well and make sense. However, I was suspicious about the middle connections because a) there were no corresponding holes in the reinforcements SF323/SF324 on the other side of the firewall and b) if I drill holes through the middle connections I felt that they would end on the other side of the firewall and hit right at the lower edge of SF323/324. The result would be that the bolts would not get a god grip. BUT as the engine mount is produced in a jig there is little chance of any variation and of course all holes ended exactly were they should and the engine mount fitted very well to the firewall.

HOWEVER, the manual states that the middle connection should use AN4-17A bolts. This must be wrong. This bolt is both too thin and much too long. I prefer a AN5-15A which fits well.
