Brief Description:  elevator and stabiliser wing tips

The elevator and stabiliser tips are made of semi flexible 3 mm plastic and are nicely cut. However there are a couple of things that make putting the tips on a bit tricky. Since I have a trim servo installed on the left side of the stabiliser with push-pull rods extending to the elevator these rods when they move occupy quite a lot of space along the side of the rib where you are also looking for a place to attach the "angular SD035" to support the tips. I had to modify the "angular " and had to grind down a couple of rivnuts to make the neccessary space. Also, as you need to make the holes in the tip to match the holes already cut out in the SD035 you need to make some sort of template of the holes and translate them to the tips. I made a template from a scrap piece of aluminium which worked ok. ICP recommends to attach the tips of the left side of the stabiliser and elevator with rivnuts in stead of rivets. Good idea, I installed all tips with rivnuts and ss screws. This will make it easier when the tips need to come off.
