- Added #6 bolts to standoffs to act as shear connectors - Installed flange assembly and fibreglass cone on airframe and checked alignment with air filter assembly - Epoxied assembly in aligned position on airframe, removed assembly and completed the joint between stainless steel flange plate and fibreglass cone. Reinforced joint and cone with additional fibreglass tape - Sanded, puttied and further sanding until a smooth entry was achieved - Finished assembly with an epoxy paint coating
