This panel is a 3" high panel made up from a stainless steel folded channel and spans over the full width of the instrument panel, fixed to the cross member with lugs welded to same.
This panel carries the Throttle and Mixture controls for the IO360 engine and the Cowl Flap control. In addition, the panel also supports the Power Distribution Panel ("Composite Design" SP-2 Standard Power Panel) located below the LHS Avionics Panel, the Hand Brake control on the LHS and the Cabin Heat and Fresh Air Supply controls
