- Given the tight clearances of the IO-360 engine within the cowling I had to keep the trimming of the baffles to within 1" of the cowling to ensure that there was suffiecien baffle material to attach the flexible seals to it - Decided not to mount the oilcooler to the rear baffle, as there is little room to create a sufficiently stiff baffle to carry the weight. Instead I will install a scat tube flange in the rear LHS baffle face and support the oilcooler remotely by the motor mount and/or firewall.
