Finally, after consulting Tim, my LAA inspector, I decided to go for a full face-mask and respirator system prior to priming anything. After significant research, I could not find anything suitable in the UK, on e-Bay or otherwise, so I finally placed an order for a "Hobbyair" respirator kit. I had to await shipment from the US, which took about 10 days. This kit comes in 110 or 220 volt volt options, so I had no worries about running it in the UK.
The kit I bought included a compressor, 40 feet of tubing, a harness, and full face mask with filter etc. Not cheap. But easier, and no doubt cheaper than replacement lungs.
Very fetching, don't you think?
