This seemed to take an age for a task that had been trialled beforehand. With the tail fin in place, the fuselage cannot be moved without lowering the tail to miss the rafters overhead.
With the prop in place I could not "hangar" the plane in the garage, unless it was located diagonally across the garage. This was not easy to accomplish, so I had to make a 40 mile trip to the nearest Machine Mart to purchase car dollies/trolleys to put under the wheels. The nosewheel needs 4 inches of timber underneath the tyre to lower the tip of the fin enough. And now it is still not easy to manoeuvre.
At Tim's suggestion I sanded the inside of the spinner in the hope that this will ensure there is minimal off-centreing of the spinner.
