Brief Description:  Cowl cooling duct

Not much in the way of pictures to illustrate today's work. This is a fibreglass cooling duct that needs to be glassed in to the left-hand side of the lower cowl. The hole is behind the "mouth" in the cowl, and an oil radiator goes there. So there are oil pipes that attach to the cowling, that must be a pain. Air is also forced along the duct around the lower left side of the cowl, to a water radiator.

There's plenty of fiberglass to be trimmed off to the scribe lines on this, and on a smaller radiator interface piece. Thee's also work, not shown, to assemble a framework around the oil radiator so that it can be mounted in the hole you can see in the picture. Pictures 2 and 3 show the completed assembly installed in the duct, front and back sides.

I also installed the heater cable in the cockpit panel and routed it through the firewall and around the engine towards the hearer door. Difficult job with three awkward P-clips to be installed to support the cable. Pictures later.
