I got as far as I could today with the spinner work. I now need to take time out to prime the bulkhead, the backplates and the tabs that hold the back fill parts in place. There will be cowling hinges to prime, so I decided to get on with this and prime everything in one shot.
Picture 1 shows one of the two top hinges in place. There's lots of work here preparing hinges - nothing new, just work ;-)
Picture 2 shows one of the mid-side hinges.
Picture 3 shows the first trial fit of the top and bottom cowling. Not a bad fit, but bang up against the spinner backplate, so something needs to change.
