I was supposed to do my bi-annual (or is it bienniel) flight check with an instructor today. Low cloud, haze and rain put paid to that!
I found out today that my consignment of bits from Vans had been dispatched on 22nd January, and just cleared customs this morning. So should be here in a day or two.
I prime coated all of the relevant tank bits today. The spray gun was now shooting too much paint, after yesterday's problems with thick grey paint. As a result I have a messy collection of paint runs. And it is taking ages to dry. I'll leave it overnight, and possibly over the weekend to dry. Then I can see if I can sand down the high spots prior to putting on a final grey coat.
