Many folk had complained that it is difficult to pass the bundle of cables over the top of the rudder pedals without fouling the pedal assembly. To alleviate this one builder fabricated a box to channel the cables above the rudder structure. This has subsequently been incorporated in the Vans Finishing Kit, but not in mine. So I spent some time fabricating the box (channel really) from some scrap. My efforts, not quite finished, are shown in Picture 1.
I note that Vans also now includes a Wireway Bracket Flange, so I will probably need to fabricate this part too. Both are described on Page 13-03 Revision 2.
