After a long delay (although no hold-up involved) the replacement bits for the rudder pedals finally arrived from Vans.
I dug out the Section 27 plans, and drilled and installed the replacement parts. I took the opportunity to finish the assembly, putting split pins (not very well) into the relevant orifices.
Tempted as I was, I refrained from trial fitting the rudder bar assembly as most folk feel this is premature, and they will need to be removed anyway to complete the wiring.
