Brief Description:  Second and third bottom skins on first wing

Same procedure for the outboard, then the middle skin. Yellow gunge, cleco, rivet. Lots of all of the above. End result is an increasingly sore wrist. I think it is called wrist tendonitis, and will require preventive/remedial treatment if the work is to continue to proceed apace. I'll buy a wrist support on the internet tonight and see how that works.

First picture is the outboard skin done, and second picture is the middle skin which overlaps the outer and inner skins. This is the one that has a tiny slot for the stall warning vane. I had previously checked that this fitted OK, as per instructions. It did!

Tomorrow's job will be to flip the wing over so that I can check today's work, and then move on to the top skin. I measured the distance between the workbench and the overhead garage door. One inch to spare when the wing is vertical. I may need to move it outside to flip it over.

While at it, I remeasured the wing stand (trolley). I may have not allowed for the inch or so that the leading edge stands proud of the ribs. Would be just like it if the wings don't fit the stand for the sake of an inch. Next week's problem, methinks.
