I spent some time constructing a mechanism to hold the wings vertically while they are being painted. And I compiled a painters handbook explaining what I wanted done. The car body painter and I are both taking a bit of a chance undertaking this work. I'm sure the painting will be fine, but I hope the guys realise the fragility of the wing panels. They are dented enough with my rough handling.
Keith showed up with a trailer, so we scooted up to Perth and spent some time securing the wings in their cradle on the trailer. In glorious sunshine they were relocated to Bridge of Earn for a few days.

The engine is now out of its box and on the table I had been using for the canopy. It looks tiny! I've got my work cut out for next week.
