Having returned on 3rd April from a trip to London I was delighted to find a delivery from Vans. My replacement spars had arrived.
However, on inspection today, I discovered that the front spar and the piano hinge had been severely mauled on transit. The hinge was much longer than required so was recoverable, the spar wasn't.
It was obvious from the packaging that FedEx had applied a bandage to the damaged tube, so it must have occurred en route.
