Brief Description: Wiring up firewall forward

Picture 1 shows all of the firewall forward units wired up, some with beefy cables.
With some trepidation I attached the earth lead to the battery, went round to the panel and threw the switch. See Picture 2.
I was met with machine-gun fire. I had been warned but forgot that the fuel pump makes a hell of a racket pumping air. Hope it is MUCH quieter with fuel in there. I pulled the fuse for the pump, and silence reigned.
With the avionics switch also on, the panel lit up, with no smoke!
The Dynon is flashing at me saying I have lost my oil pressure, fuel, and probably my wings too ;-)
I don't have time, or headsets, to hand to test everything but I was pleased with the overall impression at least.
Only obvious issue is the red wing pin warning light. I reckon this should be off because the wing pins are in. I had difficulty setting these up originally, so I am not entirely surprised to see an ongoing problem.
