Brief Description:  Interior, cowl pin retainers

Yes, I'm alive and well. Not so well, I have a cold. But anyway, home from vacation and able to get some time on the plane again. Not a whole lot to do until I get the panel, which will hopefully be in the next few weeks. But small stuff. I trial fit the interior I got from Classic, and it looks great. I have to figure out a few things though, including the headset jacks, which will have to be moved, or access made in the side panels for them. Probably best to have good access to them without having to remove the panel, in case one comes loose in flight, so I may have to move them. I don't want to cut any holes in the side panels, because they look so great. Anyway, then I fabricated the hinge retainers for the lower cowl. I used a piece of thick aluminum and shaped it to a bullet shape, after drilling a vertical hole in it to retain the pin. Then I drilled a hole in it and drilled and attached the platenuts in the lower cowl for the screw that will hold the retainer in place. Wouldn't do to have those pins back out into the prop. So I made sure these are secure. Finally, I attached the new fuel hose, but only on one end. The other end requires the removal of the lower cowl, and I wasn't up for that today.
